I have been using Zoom to work with clients since March 2020. While it is a different experience to in-person sessions, I have found it to be just as effective. In particular, Zoom can be effective for those who travel regularly for work or other reasons. I've spoken to people who were in hotels, meeting rooms, sometimes outdoors in a quiet spot. I've even held sessions with clients in their parked cars.
Zoom can also help for people who may not be able to leave children or those they're caring for unattended. There are many reasons why having the option to work remotely can make regular counselling a more manageable option.
Many people are already using Zoom for family calls, work or education, so are familiar with it as a way of communication. If you don't have the app, you can find it here: https://zoom.us/download.
If you do wish to work remotely using Zoom, we just need to agree a day and time to meet, and I will then send you a meeting invite with a link for you to click on when the session is due to start. We would then have the same 50 minute session we would have if we were meeting in person.
One reason I offer a low cost Introductory Session is for us to see how the experience of meeting on Zoom works for you. If you have any other questions, or wish to book a session, please do e-mail or phone me.
